What does Canadian Havyaka Association do?
The Canadian Havyaka Association of Americas (CHAA) is a community organization of Indo-Canadians with roots in the southern part of India. CHAA’s mission is to educate, preserve, and promote the rich traditions of the Havyaka community – a distinct subsect within Hinduism. It is also dedicated to instilling strong moral and cultural values in the younger generation, helping them grow into responsible and proud citizens of Canada.
CHAA’s Community
From the very beginning, CHAA has been committed to building a stronger and more united community by warmly welcoming all the new Havyaka members. Today, CHAA has over 300 members and regularly hosts events during cultural festivals, bringing everyone together to celebrate as one.
